Offical release for MSDN and TechNet subscribers

• August 15: MSDN and TechNet subscribers will be the first to get access to the new software.
• August 16: Software Assurance customers and Microsoft Partner Network members will get access to the operating system.

Will be nice to hear some reviews of the real thing, anyone around here a subscriber?

Sadly I can't install it right now as our current VMWare is only 7 and if I installed 8 and broke my machine I'd be booted (rightfully) and they took my "spare" machine away some time ago

Just keep trying, took a while for the download manager to present itself for install. Even after the website stopped returning errors long enough to get there...

Got a download to fire finally (Enterprise x64) - no keys (just errors) at this point. Wondering if it's like Win7 and allows you to install without a key and run for 30 days or so ... guess I'll find out soon enough unless I get lucky with the keys.

Well, no media center kills it off for me, I watch TV on it all day and I cant find any love for any other TV app.

I'll play around for a little longer then it looks like back to windows 7 until I can get the media center sorted.

Oh joy! I need Media Center in my environment.. I wonder how long it will take for someone to include it in? The files are probably all mostly identical to those in Windows 7... If I can ever download and install it I'll take a look around..

@Brink, that key apparently doesn't work on the leaked RTM..
