Offical release for MSDN and TechNet subscribers

  • August 15: MSDN and TechNet subscribers will be the first to get access to the new software.
  • August 16: Software Assurance customers and Microsoft Partner Network members will get access to the operating system.

Will be nice to hear some reviews of the real thing, anyone around here a subscriber?

Looks like I was pretty accurate with the time for some. My MS Academy Dreamspark Premium still has the CP and RP, no final build :(

Strange, I got "Windows 8" and "Windows 8 Enterprise" but all the "Windows 8 Pro" are Volume License versions...

Getting errors left and right trying to get the keys or do much of anything else. Click on "Download" and nothing happens. Guess I'm a little late to the party and I'll have to wait for the frenzy to die down a little ... :)

Yeah it was going out on me too. I finally closed the browser and relogged into the site and it was working again.
