Hi guys. Still loving windows 8 more than 10 but I have a problem hopefully you can solve. Did much searching and tried many fixes that didnt work so now I submit it to the group.

I have many folders of pictures in my 'Pictures' folder under 'Libraries' and none of them are recognized by the "Pictures Library" app. says "0 files - We couldnt find any photos in here".

Any idea why theyre not recognized? Thanks

Rather than looking via 'Libraries' have you looked in C:\Users\Your Username\Pictures folder? I think this bypasses the 'Libraries' route.

What is the "Pictures Library" app?

No matter which app you use to look at your pictures, you will need to browse to where the pictures actually are when you are trying to open a picture. You can browse either to the actual drive and path or to the library shortcut. The library shortcut is nothing more than a "one-click" method to get you to the folder where the pictures are.
