I have a laptop and a desktop both of which have Windows 8.1 installed. On my laptop when I select "Bluetooth" under "PC and devices" I have a slider with the option of turning Bluetooth off. When I make the same selection on my desktop there is no slider. Can anyone tell me how I can get the slider to appear, please?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

My Notebooks with Bluetooth are integrated with the Wi-Fi adapter but my Desktops on which I've add after-market USB Bluetooth adapters in the front USB port do not have a feature to turn them off, don't need that as I can just unplug them.

Is it built in Bluetooth or a USB dongle like for a keyboard or mouse? My Logitech Wireless keyboards us a unifying Bluetooth dongle but it doesn't show up as a normal Bluetooth device. They are proprietary and only work with Logitech devices.
