Netflix login problem, all browsers, windows 8

Since upping to Windows 8, can't log into Netflix account in Firefox, IE, Chrome, or Opera. Get totally red screen. Add-on bar (in FF, for example) shows connection activity and then "Done." Checked firewall, HOSTS file, and AV for blocked sites, but this one apparently not blocked. Everything works in Windows 7.

I'd be very grateful for any help.

Thanks,
Steve

Netflix page loads with a blank red screen with no place for login info. There's nothing blocking Netflix, just something corrupting login screen. This happens in Windows 8 with Firefox, Chrome, IE, and Opera. No problem with Linux or Windows 7.

Running Win8 Pro and FF 16.0.2 and IE both open Netflix without issue, and I can watch movies as well.
No issues at all here.

So, something is blocking you from getting to that site on the Win8 system.

Just had a long phone conversation with a very nice NetFlix support person, who had no solution to this apparently very rare problem. Think I'll close this thread and start a new one about entry traps.

Many thanks to all.

You can, but I can tell you this is a problem on your system that something is blocking you from accessing that site in all browsers.
This is not a Windows 8 specific issue.

I would first start with uninstalling any AV Internet Suite you have installed.

If you are running a AV Internet Suite, the firewall could be blocking it, it might have a web page stopper or java script stopper on that site, I agree, something in your computer is stopping it
