.NET Framework 3.5 Problem on Windows 8.1

Hi all, I don't know if this is the right section for my question, if it isn't I apologize in advance.
The problem is that I can't install the .NET Framework 3.5 on my Windows 8.1 because when i try to install it, appears:

"Can't install the following feature:
.NET Framework 3.5

Can't find the specified file
Error: 0x80070002"

The same if i download the dotNetFx35setup.exe setup from Microsoft Website.
I tried also in other 2 ways suggested here (Installazione di .NET Framework 3.5 in Windows 8) :
- In Control Panel -> Programs -> Enable or disable Windows Features -> .NET Framework 3.5 but i receive the same error
- I insert Windows 8 DVD in the D:\ Unit and i type in the prompt command this code:

 [COLOR=#006400][FONT=Consolas]DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:d:\sources\sxs [/FONT][/COLOR]

But i receive this error:

"Features Activation: 99.8%
Error: 2
Can't find the specified file"

I also had this problem and i don't really know how i fixed it. I tried installing it but it kept giving me the same error. I needed Frameworks for the program Paint.Net. So when i run the installation wizard of Paint.Net it showed me the instalation of .net frameworks. But there was an option to ignore the instalation of framework and just try the instalation of paint.net. So i ignored it and paint but net installed without a program. After the instalation of paint.net, the instalation of .net frameworks worked fine.
Its really strainge but it worked on two computers for me so thats one thing you can try.

The second thing you can do is just be patiënt. Keep trying it. It might also work after a windows update.

Still trying to get past this. I need it to install Catalyst control center for amd drivers. Even though there is the ignore option it doesn't work.
I am thinking of going back to win8.

No, I dont think that will solve your problem because i had the problem after resetting windows 8. So the problem also locates at windows 8

Unfortunatelly it didnt work. Paint.net succesfully installed with ignore function but no sign of framework 3.5.

The ONLY solution is to copy WinSxS folder from machine with installed DotNet 3.5 and run DISM to this folder.

Which driver and CCC and for which video card are you trying to install ? Some newer drivers have overcome .net problem.
