I keep getting error code 0x80070570
An unexpected error is keeping you from creating the folder. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code search to help with this problem

any suggestion to fix would be appreciated

When do you see this error message? Is it during install or while using Windows 8?

What folder are you trying to create and where are you trying to create it.

In other words, what are you doing when this happens. Please be specific.

Thanks

I am having the same problem. I created a "new folder" and placed some video and PowerPoint documents in it (reorganizing for a class lecture); I then transferred the folder to my flash drive. When I tried to delete the folder the contents were deleted but not the folder. When I try to delete the folder nothing happens, and when I try to open the folder I am told that the folder is corrupted or unreadable. I tried to delete the folder in safe mode but this didn't work. Also I created a Word document and when I tried to put in the that folder I got the following message: Error: 0x80070570. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the disk s.m.a.r.t. log with Crystal DiskInfo, if it comes clean, run a chkdsk /r /f from an administrative command prompt, then run memtest for some loops to discard ram errors.
