Solved Need Quick Help "About Windows".

Hi to all Eight Forums.
I wanted to know where can I find "About Windows".? in windows..
and what about windows 8.1. is it update on windows 8 or we only can install it by removing previously installed windows 8.?

• If upgrading from Windows 8/Windows RT to Windows 8.1 final/Windows RT 8.1 final (when released later this year), you will not lose anything. All settings, data and apps will carry over unless you are installing Windows 8.1 final in a language that's different from the language currently on your PC.

• If you're running Windows RT you won't be able to restore Windows RT after you install Windows RT 8.1 Preview. You'll be able to upgrade to the final version of Windows RT 8.1. If installation of Windows RT 8.1 Preview fails on your PC, you may need to contact your PC manufacturer.

honestly, I don't what RT is,
I have windows 8 pro with media center 64bits.
and I wanted to know the "about windows" dialogue box. I know where the system information is,

Go to your Start Screen and type winver, it should then show up in the search list to the right. Click that and it should show the screenshot you posted above.
