Need help with windows 8.1 lockscreen background

I have been trying for hours to change the default background for my windows 8.1 user login screen.

Basically after 10min my monitor turns off and asks for my user pin


I turned off this splash screen as its useless for me so when I wake my PC it goes to the logon screen in the 2nd picture right away




What im talking about is the user login screen after




I have read many articles on windows 7 and 10 and tested a few programs but none seem to work for 8.1

I also did some registry mods with no sussess

Anyone have an idea?

Try going into the Power Options area and change the amount of time for the monitor turning off and when you select a background pic do you save that option. Also you can have it when it logs back on not to ask for a password. Just check the Power Options area and set it as you like
