Hello guys,

I have recently dual booted windows 7 alongside my preinstalled windows 8 edition. The problem is that I have no network , USB bus drivers, or graphics adapter. I have the page with my computer specs, but I am not sure that hp has drivers for windows 7 on the driver support page.

HP 15.6 Laptop Win 8 AMD A6 Processor 8GB RAM 1TB HD ? QVC.com

Thanks.

Hi

Assuming you installed Windows 7 x64 , please try the below drivers.

Chipset : AMD Chipset Drivers

Display : http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63501-64000/sp63910.exe

or ( if the above one failed to install ) Mobile

After installing/trying these drivers, please upload a system information report to identify the missing drivers. To do that enter Msinfo32.exe in the RUN dialogue and Microsoft "System Info" tool will open. Choose "File -->Save" and attach the report with next reply.

Hello! Thanks for your reply! I have fixed the Display and Network drivers, and will get back to you on the chipsets! However, in the Device Manager, it now shows three "Unknown Devices" with no driver! I could not attach the system report because the forum attachments page said it was an invalid file type. Did I do something wrong? Thanks.

Hold up. I think I may have fixed the whole thing after installing the Chipset. I just need a way to attach the system report to make sure that it is all fixed.

Yes, everything looks good. The only device which don't have driver installed ( technically )is the " IDT High Definition Audio" but usually sound will work fine with Microsoft's generic HD audio driver ( which is currently used ) so i don't think installing OEM driver is necessary.
