Need help modifying individual PC-settings via registry

Hello everyone!

I'm currently trying to compile a custom up-to-date Windows 8.1 ISO with all those telemetry/ customer experience updates excluded and out-of-the-box settings (e.g. error reporting disabled, hide known file extensions disabled etc.) tailored to my needs. Unfortunately I kind of hit a wall when trying to modify anything in the "PC-Settings"-App such as automatically disabling location services or microphone access. Is there any way to change those settings via the registry and, if yes, is anyone of you aware of a website giving an overview of the reg-entries that need to be modified/ added in order to enable/ disable the individual settings?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Cheers,

Daniel

Hello samuria, thanks :) !

I'm doing all this for my stand alone private PCs, the Windows version is 8.1 Professional.

Ahm, that is an excellent question. I read that PC-Settings can apparently be changed using the Group Policy Editor but I'm not sure if it is possible to do this via the SetupComplete.cmd-script and, if yes, how I need to set it up.
