I looked thru several of the posts related to this, and things improved, was able to get rid of all the dozen or so not found oem??.inf errors,
but it's still not perfect. The output of the last 2 cmds I tried is below. At last it says I don't have to do any more /restorehealth-ing, or do I?
Is the component store size discrepancy between what Windows Explorer has and what it says is the actual, a problem? If so, how to fix?
Re: the /restorehealth complaints (0x800f081f), I downloaded an ISO file for 8.1, put it on a USB drive, but trying to use it with the /source
option kept telling me it was unreadable. Does it need a WIM file, not an ISO? Not sure how to get one.
What should be my next move?
