Need an Image Viewer with "Scroll to Zoom" feature

So I need to a image viewer/editor with "Scroll to Zoom" feature. Basically when I scroll, the image should be zoomed instead of moving to the next picture.
Irfanview had this feature but its not there anymore. Or maybe I am not able to find it.

I know that Ctrl+Scroll will produce the result. But I need it to zoom with only the Scroll button.

So do you know of any program/software that has this feature. Any suggestions?

Built in Windows Photo Viewer does that.

As the above poster said, use the desktop Windows Photo Viewer instead of the Photos app.

As you've found, the photos app is pretty limiting and although you can use CTRL + 'scroll' to zoom in and out, if you zoom back too much it kicks you out of where you were and puts you in the 'Pictures library', regardless of where you were before. There's also no 100% view button or even a direct print button for the not so computer savvy people. Change your default program to Windows Photo Viewer, as it's more functional. You can use the forward and back arrow keys to move between photos anyway.
