Natural Scrolling in Windows 8 Pro

I'm working with Windows 8 Pro (upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate) on a Thinkpad T61P. I'm also using a Logitech T650 Touchpad. I'm a PC user from back when the PC was first invented (well, the orig IBM PC :).:geek:

I also work on a Mac running Mountain Lion, and there I use the Apple Trackpad.

Now that I'm using the Touchpad with Windows 8, I suddenly realize how "backwards" traditional Windows scrolling is, at least when compared to the "Natural Scrolling" in OSX. Suddenly I realize it doesn't make sense to swipe up when I really want to move the page down.

Anyway, that's a long way of asking this: have any of you found a way yet to reverse the scrolling direction in Windows 8? It's a little distracting when switching between platforms to find myself scrolling in the wrong direction. I realize I can disable Natural Scrolling in OSX, but I prefer to keep it the way it is.

Thanks in advance!

If you are using the Synaptics touchpad driver uncheck the reverse scrolling block in settings->scrolling/

haha. you weren't one of the traditional Mac people complaining how messed up the new scrolling in OSX is. in fact, Apple put the traditional scrolling because of all the complaints.

it just depends on whether you grew up on MacOS/Windows or whether you grew up on smartphones.

@DonaldDormund: Thanks for the settings pointer, no pun intended :). Actually I am using the Logitech driver that got automatically installed when I connected the Touchpad. There are some settings, but they are nowhere nearly as detailed as the ones you posted. I did check those prior to posting and haven't yet found anything related to scrolling direction :(.

lol, no, I am new this year to the world of Macs :). I've been using PCs since they were invented, so (what I now consider to be) "backwards" scrolling is what I'm used to. But I quickly adapted to the OSX "natural scrolling" and now the old way seems, ummm, unnatural to me :).

It's the same for me. I'm quite use to "natural scrolling" and I'm looking for a way to have this feature enabled while scrolling with my Logitech T650 on Windows 8.

BTW something I'd really need to have is a 3 fingers gestures swipe to switch between opened applications. The "one touch" from the left side's trackpad is really annoying.

Have you experienced the same problem? Or have you found a solution to implement the "natural scrolling" at least?

Thank you in advance

PS. Sorry for any mistake, english is not my mother-language :)

Have you installed the latest Logitech SetPoint Software? It's supposed to add support for the Windows 8 gestures.
http://www.eightforums.com/hardware-drivers/3123-latest-logitech-setpoint-software-2.html#post139944

Latest changes are only:
- Double-tap to drag is now supported on the Rechargeable Touchpad T650
- Swipe gestures across the top edge of the Rechargeable Touchpad T650 are now more reliable

Nothing to do with natural scrolling or 3 finger gestures to switch apps
:(

Agreed. I have the latest Setpoint installed too (6.51.8) and nothing significant has changed for me. I still don't see a way to enable natural scrolling, and as Zonzo3 said, three-finger gestures still aren't possible.

While I don't expect them (MS for Win8 or Logitech for the T650) to necessarily follow Apple's lead & mimic their gestures (though it would be nice if they did) I'm disappointed that the software doesn't allow a higher level of customization of gestures so I can configure them that way myself ...

Good news, in 6.51.8 you can enable "Natural scrolling"!

Just go in "Scrolling" tab, next click on "Scrolling options" and check the first option ...et voilà!

The scrolling configuration described in this thread is specifically for the Logitech T650 Touchpad. It's not for native windows scrolling, e.g. using the touchscreen or mouse wheel. I suppose those would be subject to configuration options for the specific computer/touchscreen or the driver for the mouse in question.
