For the past few weeks I have been receiving an update available message whenever I open the MSN Weather metro app. I am running Win 8.1 on a Dell tablet. When I go to the Windows store using the link in the update message, it claims there is no update available.
I have run the SFC and DISM commands to check for corrupted files and none have been reported. I also ran the wsreset cmd to reset the Windows Store cache.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. The update message still appears. Interestingly the app now no longer apps in the My Apps section of the Store or is found when searching the Store.
