can i do that in windows? cause i think i tried that one about 2 hours ago. i released the power in the laptop i got. removed the recovery slugging the pc to hieell because it logs everything so they can see whatsup when we send it in for "repair" when they just add another "recovery" (log) layer and its slower when we get it back. removed all the acer programs have deemed effective everytime i had a laptop. threw mcaffe out of the planet. started using defender 
i tried resize \ move the partition but didnt quite get how it worked since there were no other partitions to move it past in the window that function brings.
think it's better just to keep a usb with windows 8.1 iso on it since it has no cd\dvd rom. it got stuck on updating reverting changes for about a day then i restarted and it wouldnt boot said i needed to boot device. got on my desktop and downloaded win 8.1 using media creation tool and voila recovery worked fine outside the recovery partition which instigated that the partition was locked and i needed to unlock it to use the recovery partition.

That unallocated partition just might be either the factory restore/recovery partition or the boot partition for your Windows. Windows explorer.exe does not read or report the contents of those partitions. How large does disk management report that partition to be?

Although I've done something similar, the process of doing so, the process of ensuring data is not lost, is quite a geeky one. I'm at school, hit or miss on this computer.
