@Tarik I have tried to install everything on admin level and in compatibility mode but no luck. I have just given up on trying to play Minecraft on this old laptop. I am hoping that XDleader555 will work on an update for this driver for Windows 8.1.

For those using Windows 8.1 and are having problems installing the drivers because of signature issues, it's very simple to solve it.

Open Command Prompt in Administrator mode, paste the code below then press enter 2 times:

bcdedit -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON

Reboot and try installing the drivers again, it should work.

Am using Win7Vista8_64_151719_v2.exe driver and have same problem that user anonymousthing had a while ago: System cannot enter sleep mode, only hibernate.

Exclamation point in device manager because "Windows cannnot verify digital signatures..." Also in device manager under Display Adapters I see Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Chipset Family v2 listed twice.

powercfg -a shows:

Standby (S3)
An internal system component has disabled this standby state.

Sorry to trouble you guys with a new problem but, After installing the custom singed driver v2869, I get BSODs It happens whenever my Integrated graphics is working to hard and it blue screens with the error: system_thread_exception_not_handled. So can you guys helps me out here?

After installing the win8.1 update, windows started in normal mode again with WDDM. I used the procedure from #163 an reinstalled the drivers and it seems to work. With WDDM I had several graphic bugs with firefox.

But does anyone know how to remove the watermark? I have a legit activated Win 8.1, but I need the test mode for those drivers :/

Messed up my display on 8.1.

Tried on 8.1, I have a broken screen so it just project onto my monitor but now I have no display on my external, I cannot even see BIOS on my external screen (non related to the problem) but I cannot check BIOS settings either. I've cycled through the projector setting by pressing F1 simultaneously but to no fix so far. Any help? I've tried Safe Mode aswell.

I have just fixed this solution by if you wait about 20minutes or more, it should delete the driver automatically stating that it was a corrupted driver.

I'm not saying it doesn't work for Windows 8 as it does (I used to have it on W8), but its just not compatible with W8.1.
