Solved Mobile Intel Series 4 and Intel HD Graphics 1st Generation

Ok. So I tried your drivers on Win 8 final and they're no different to the supplied drivers. I've uninstalled and reinstalled back to the official ones but how do I go about uninstalling your custom installer so I no longer have the TEST MODE watermark?
first of all uninstall the drivern and restart..then simply use this comand on command prompt bcdedit.exe /set testsigning off
Restart again, then u can instal the latest driver from the official. Mine its working

Great, Thanks Pity the end result got me no further though. I need drivers with screen orientation hotkeys. The latest official ones don't have it. what's the point releasing drivers for a tablet OS if you can't set the orientation?

I've got an old HP Elitebook 2730p (pen based) tablet PC. There's so many drivers that don't work properly on this PC it's unbelievable. I'm not sure if I should be blaming MS or HP for this but it's unusable in it's current state. I might have to uninstall and put W7 back on.

I installed the Win7Vista_64_151718_SIGNED.zip file previously executing the Custom Certificate Install.exe utility. But after the installation I go to Device Manager and see that the display adapter has an exclamation sign. When I go to Properties, it says that the driver is not signed. Another problem is that I lost the ability to sleep the computer. I can only sleep the computer when using the standard video drivers.

I installed the custom certificate and my desktop shows "Test Mode", so I know it worked correctly. However, when I try to install the driver, I get this message:

"The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer.

Setup will exit."

I'm using an Intel Core2Duo with the Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset, running Windows 8 x64

Can you give me your Hardware IDs for your graphics chip? I'll add them to the driver. And If you can get me the exact model of your computer, that might help too.

It didn't work :\
I redownloaded both files (cert installer and the driver itself), extracted the driver, and ran Custom Certificate Installer v2 - it said successful for all the stuff it did. Ran the driver, same error popped up :(

Well then, Here's a driver with your Hardware IDs and Feature score set to zero. I've made some minor changes to it, so if it installs could you test metro apps?

Need Help

I have Acer Aspire 5738.

I recently installed Windows 8 Pro to give it a try, most things went well and transferred over successfully. However I am now having great trouble with 'WindowsAndroid' software Which gives error as "OpenGL version 1.1.0 is too low, 2.00000 expected" then i install drivers provided by you but now the software is terminated without giving any error message.

The only details I have about my graphics card is what I have found in my device manager which calls it a (Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)).

So please provide some guidance or any other drivers to overcome this problem.

Medion P6630 MD98560 Intel i3 390M driver problem

Great work, guys!

I tried to use the driver under Win 8 pro x64 with my i3 390 M HD Graphics, too.

My hardware seems to be not supported yet, because my Notebook reboots everytime when I power on. After new boot it works good.

The hardware IDs from Intel(R) HD Graphics are:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0046&SUBSYS_10E217C0&REV_18
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0046&SUBSYS_10E217C0
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0046&CC_030000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0046&CC_0300

Second graphic card is nVidia GEFORCE GT540M.

Is anybody able to help?

Thank you!!

KB2756872 and KB2785095 won´t install. I don´t know if these things belong together...

Hello,

can you tell us what this modified driver actually does? I read the full thread, but couldn't find any information. Does it activate OpenGL for the mentioned Intel IGPS on Win8 again? And can I use the intel controlpanel with win8?

This installs the Windows 7 driver onto windows 8 (Since intel has stopped making drivers for the first generation HD Graphics) It includes everything from the windows 7 driver. Although, you can't use some features of windows 8 with them.

Have you installed the nvidia graphics driver as well? If you can't get this to work, try disabling the intel graphics in the bios and just use the nvidia. (Probably cause less crashes this way)

The graphics should be called just "Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family" with no WDDM. Have you disabled windows from automatically replacing the modified driver?

Yup, it updates OpenGL bt i think its not supports because 'WindowsAndroid' software terminates without any error message.
So can you provide any other modded driver ??
