Solved Mobile Intel Series 4 and Intel HD Graphics 1st Generation

There's no difference between my modified driver an the one on the Intel website. Only more hardware Id's. What are your hardware ID's Ill go build you a custom one or identify what card you have. Also all the drivers I post are up to date.

does this work with G41 card ?
Yes it does. Download the Mobile Intel Series 4 Driver from the first post. Make sure to run the custom installer and check the Note of the first page if it's not working.

As long as it's WDDM 1.1 it will work. Do you not want drivers? :D I can change the version number if you're bugged about it ._.

@ akungz - It can be done, but adding Hardware ID's only allow the driver to be installed on a device. You're having problems with metro right? It's either the driver (incompatibility) or its a software issue. If you are able to install the driver we don't need to add more Hardware ID's.

Also make sure your resolution is higher than 1024x768. Since metro apps wont work if it's too low.

You installed the custom certificate installer right? If you did proceed to run the following:

Hit the combo of Windows Key + R and type cmd. In the taskbar right click the cmd box and right click command prompt. Then choose run as administrator (Or you can go to C:\windows\system32 and run cmd as administrator)
Next run the command bcdedit.exe /set testsigning on
Retry the installation of the driver.

Try the windows 7 HD 3000 Driver.

Here's a modded version which lets you install to Windows 8.

I had the same problem.

Unfortunatly you can't turn off the testsigning.

Leave it on and get used to the watermark.

Nothing will change on your PC (aside from the watermark), don't worry.

The performance gain will pay for this little issue, IMO. :geek:

Ok. So I tried your drivers on Win 8 final and they're no different to the supplied drivers. I've uninstalled and reinstalled back to the official ones but how do I go about uninstalling your custom installer so I no longer have the TEST MODE watermark?
