I am personally stumped by this issue. My laptop ran a System Restore after running out of power yesterday, and now a weeks-old batch file is missing. The other files the batch file was downloaded with are not missing, and nor are many more recently created files. Oddly enough, the file still shows up in searches of the folder where it was, but attempting to run the search result results in a dialog saying the file could not be found.

Before anyone suggests hidden files, I have view hidden files enabled.
