Here's the installer for the XP voices. This time I have tested it more thoroughly (in both 32-Bit and 64-Bit environments), and it should work with no problems. Please let me know if you still experience issues with it.

I'm still working on creating the installer for Anna. Please be patient as work around some issues I'm having. But as an added bonus, I'll be including the Microsoft Lili (Chinese) voice in the Windows 7 installer. Also expect to see LH Michael and Michelle in the Windows XP voices installer (32-Bit only). And again, let me know if you experience any issues.

Hmm, it's worked fine for me. My guess is it's an issue with DLL registration, since the main problem with the batch files was that the files weren't copying.

Here's version 1.1, which mainly just has a few bug fixes:

I would recommend installing this even if you've already installed v1.0, as it fixes a few installation locations and some registry data.

Good! Version 1.0 was a bit of a mess, to be honest. I just finished version 1.2, which includes an uninstaller:

Unless anyone reports an issue, consider 1.2 to be the final version of the setup for the XP voices. It's pretty complete as far as I'm concerned, and the Lernout & Hauspie voices will have their own installer. However, I am having difficulties getting them to work, so I don't know when that will be finished.

As for the Windows 7 voices, I'm just about finished with the installer, and I just want to test it before I upload it.

So I've noticed some issues with Microsoft Sam, mainly he won't say certain words. For example, he is unable to say his famous 'soi' at all. I've traced this problem to the registry, and I have a fix for it:

Unfortunately, I don't know how to update this in the installer, as it seems that the software I used to create it does not have native support for REG_MULTI_SZ values. I'll keep looking for a workaround though.

For the Windows 7 voices, I'm just ironing out a few issues with the installer, and then I'll upload it and post here.

Alright, so with some help I was able to include the Microsoft Sam PhoneMap fix in the installer. So here is version 1.3, which will install Microsoft Sam properly:

Thank you so much, Butters! The Windows 7 Text to Speech Voices Setup v1.0 is exactly what I needed to get MS Anna installed on the Windows 10 machines I have to work with. The Setup works perfectly for me. I really appreciate all the time you put into this.

It might be that you need to change the file extension from ".nsi" to ".msi"--maybe that will let it work?

Yeah sorry I uploaded the wrong file for the XP voices, it should be in EXE format. I updated the link, so go ahead and re-download it and discard the old file. I am so sorry for the inconvenience.

But anyway, thanks for all the positive feedback with the Windows 7 voices installer. I noticed that Microsoft Lili doesn't seem to be working, I'll try and fix that when I have the chance.

As for the Lernout & Hauspie voices, I seriously can't get them to work! I'll keep trying though, and I'll update here when I figure it out.

With this version, Microsoft Lili should be working! Turns out, I had mixed up some of the zh-CHS references with en-US in the source.
