Microsoft and local account are the same folder.

New Member

So this strange thing is happening with my bf's user accounts and we're trying to figure it out. His pc is running on Windows 8.1. So there is a folder on his desktop named after his local user account but with contents identical to his microsoft account folder. So the exact same folder appears twice - once on the desktop, named after his local account, and once in c:\users, named after his microsoft account.

We want to move that folder from the desktop because that's not where it's supposed to be. Does anyone have an idea about how we can do that? He thinks that happened after we added some permissions for his local account but it may be something else.

Would appreciate your help on this!
