March 10th 2015 Windows Updates

Today, as part of Update Tuesday, we released 14 security bulletins to address vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange, and Internet Explorer.

We encourage customers to apply all of these updates. For more information about this month’s security updates, including the detailed view of the Exploitability Index (XI) broken down by each Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE), visit the Microsoft Bulletin Summary webpage. If you are not familiar with how we calculate the XI, a full description can be found here.

We released one new Security Advisory:

• Availability of SHA-2 code signing support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 (3033929)

Two Security Advisories were revised:

• Update for Vulnerabilities in Adobe Flash Player in Internet Explorer (2755801)
• Vulnerability in Schannel Could Allow Security Feature Bypass (3046015)

48 on mine all important updates installed no issues.
my wife's is running now 32 plus 2 optional one of the optional is an updated Texas Instruments USB 3.0 this is on a HP all in one touch screen.. I expect her's to hang during the shut down. for the last few months it downloads installs then starts to repboot and hangs after the PE shut donwn phase. it so far has always actual finished the install with out issues I just have to force the complete shut down? When it boots back up it finished the install in PE state and boots to desktop no issues?

I got 53 including Office 2013. 1.2 GB

I got 54 updates including some for Office 2013 even though I have never purchased Office 2013. I have Office 2010 Professional installed, but now I have different 2013 elements including OneNote 2013. Why is there such a discrepancy between the amount of updates that we all received?

Well, we don't all have same setups, MS programs like Office, some updates come for hardware drivers etc.

You can also reverse check it from "Installed updates" and MS site.

Not often I get to do something first

Last night I downloaded and Installed all the Important and Recommended Updates. But this morning when I booted up it was SO SLOW before the main Desktop Screen came on.

Was one or more of these updates affecting boot-up speed, if so what can i do about it. Does anyone else noticed this problem or is it just me.

Usually after a major update, the defrag service runs, and slows the system down for at least 30 minutes.

I'm having a Problem with my Laptop after the Update im Getting the annoying System interrupts Problem and funny thing is it has something to do with my USP port if i re-plug my usb device it goes back to normal, but comes back after a while,

After the 3/10/15 updates, now flash player won't work on my Lenovo PC running W8.1 and IE11. It is working on my Dell laptop running same. Have worked my way thru many help pages on "why flash player isn't working" and nothing. Anyone have any ideas?
