Hello everyone

I am aware that there were two similar posts but no solution or workaround was mentioned so far.

Is there a way to get the draft folder working like every other folder so you could actually use the mail app as an email client?
I haven't managed to sync drafts whether this was on hotmail, outlook.com nor MS Exchange
Highly appreciate information on this subject since also win10 mail app is still suffering the same huge fail.

Have you tried clicking the sync icon at the top after creating a draft?

Hmmm.. I just tried with my Hotmail account, it doesn't seem to sync with the online outlook, is that what you mean?

Yes, the mail app syncs the inbox the sent folder but none of the other folders, especially not the draft folder, which of course renders this app useless to really work with it like I would with any other mail client (especially common sense non MS clients)

I am looking for a solution, of course not a bruteforce approach like some joking guy in another forum proposed to send a copy of the drafted mail to your inbox ...

I am so surprised that microsoft never hotfixed this issue and maybe the biggest joke: they "forgot" to fix it even for win 10 mail app....

so If anyone has a solution or a hotfix for that I would be very happy

I'm on Windows 10 and the problem still exists, at the risk of sounding sarcastic(I'm not trying to), don't get your hopes up. I could give some work a rounds, but that doesn't solve your problem:(. I even checked outlook(dot)com this morning, giving it enough time to sync, no joy. I'm guessing the other folders are just stored locally in C:\User\UserName\AppData\Local

I am very close to just accept the fact that someone at Microsoft really decided to disable the sync on the draft folder. Every user of the system is aware, that such a decision couldn't possibly be based on reason, now there is one thing left: why don't they hotfix the thing or fix it in the new release, and why do they keep people at their company who come up with such ideas?
Not even a code monkey could design this by intention....
