To go with their new shiny operating system MS are launching their touch mouse.
You will be able to buy this at the bargain price of $79.99!!!!
Somehow I do not feel tempted to replace my 10year old 5 button mouse that has the paint worn off but still works perfectly. This cost the enormous sum Of £4.50 call it $7; media keyboard £6 ($9)
Of course not, but personally I have NO use for any tablet, when a netbook or laptop are so much more practical and a MUCH better value for your money.
$50 isn't that terrible for a mouse. I've paid that much in the past.
As far as a keyboard goes, there are $8 keyboards and there are nice mechanical keyboards that cost $130. Coworker of mine just got the Das Professional S for work and for the work environment it's nice. I 'm actually contemplating getting one for my desk as I sit here and type all day.
I paid 50 dollars for the Microsoft Touch Mouse and I think 50 as well for my Logitech wireless solar powered keyboard....I am an experienced explorer of the amazon....com.
80 dollars for a mouse seems high, it is. But then again, some people do pay that money for a peripheral like a mouse, for example, gamers. They sometimes pay almost 100 dollars and more for a mouse and keyboard. Why? Floats their boat. The Touch Mouse floats my boat as it's great for the Desktop, and will be great for the metro environment.
I recently bought the MS Touch Mouse at Fry's for $75 ($5 off for open box), and really love it. Use it all of the tine now on my W7 box. Too bad I can't use it at work on my XP box (will they EVER upgrade it)? Not sure how different the new mouse will be.
