So i tried using the compatibility mode troubleshooter and that did not work. I am trying to install Logo Design Studio Pro and it is not working. I can open the place where i can click install, but after that i can not get too far. It is saying i have to have service pack 3.5. Here is a screenshot: issuebadincompatible.png

yes. I have windows 8.1 pro. Where can i get dot net framework 3.5?

Sorry but is Google not working? Anyway here you go: Download Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 from Official Microsoft Download Center

And there shouldn't be any compatibility issues unless you have an old program. I have Logo Design Studio Pro and just now installed and ran it without issue here. And opened as well.

Did you install a PID# and also register it....

BTW I did not have to install .net 3.5, the program just installed with no issues.

i have an up to date version. I got it from b and h. I have the installation password and a product key.

You didn't go to: "Turn windows features on or off". .NET is not a program but Windows feature.

Not sure why this needs to be done as .NET Framework should be enabled by default considering a lot of programs use it but...

Anyway if you (the OP) find it is enabled, try the download link I provided.

program wont unlock

I have a similar issue. When trying to unlock the program it says that the server committed a protocal violation. I can't seem to find a way to fix the proplem

What do you mean by "unlock"? If the program is hacked or pirated, it won't work and the server won't recognize it.

program registration

I purchased the software from office depot. I can't get passed the registration

I have no idea what going on then because I just re-installed mine earlier this week and had no issues. Perhaps you should contact Summitsoft to see if they can get it running for you.
