Solved Link Shortcut In Games Folder

Hello :)
Does anyone know how to delete link shortcuts out of the "Games" folder on Windows 8? I put a link shortcut in there by accident and it got stuck in there. I can't delete it or anything.

You may want to leave those shortcuts alone, unless you're sure it's really a shortcut. It may actually be a NTFS junction/symbolic link, which if I'm not mistaken also use the shortcut arrow icon.
 
Hello Steve,

These are just shortcuts for games in the Games Explorer folder. They are perfectly safe to remove using the method in the tutorial above if you don't want one there.

The danger comes if you make a mistake in the registry, which is why it would be recommended to create a restore point before doing so to be safe.

You can reinstall the game to easily add it back. :)
