This is the Win 8 driver for the Lenovo G500 camera:

Version: AVC Liteon 6.2.9200.10227 Bison Chicony 3.13.301.1

Get it here and make sure you download the Win 8 version:

Unfortunately, I have never encountered that exact message so I can't say; however, let's try something different. Open your device manager and provide a screenshot of the driver you have installed right now:

Take note that I aslo have a Lenovo (B575) and my driver was provided by MS. From here you have two options:

1- If the "rollback" button is clickable, try to rollback the current driver because it could have come from an optional Windows Update download and they do not have a good track record in that area.

2- Try uninstalling the current driver, reboot and see what happens.

The next step would be to try and identify the specific device ID; however, I'm going out for about 3 hours so I won't be able to respond so maybe someone else can step in and help you in the interim. Good luck
