Latest Version of Malwarebytes

I installed the new version last night, then ran a scan and it found a few items and put them in quarantine, which bothers me a little since I had the previous version of MalwareBytes installed and it apparently didn't catch these PUP's. I'll try to get a screenshot of my quarantined files...

I installed it on my wife's PC last night and nothing was found on the initial scan... I understand the lifetime license is now an annual license for three PC's, which is still a good deal! The fact that the free version of MalwareBytes will clean an infected computer is really nice versus the typical approach of "finding" something, then scaring the user into paying to "clean" their PC.

The Lifetime License which came with v1.75 and earlier is for 1 PC and will transfer to v2.0 and remains a Lifetime License for 1 PC. The new v2.0 License is for 3PC's but is only good for 1 year.

Minor update released today. You will get a notification through Updates. Ver 2.0.1.1004. Mostly just cosmetic.

https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=145758#entry813572

In about 2-3 weeks we're going to release yet another patch that will fix about ~30 bugs that have been reported or we've discovered. We wanted to make sure the UI issues were addressed first since we had some really great feedback from everyone.

To get the update, please download it from our website, or if you're already running 2.0, just check for updates. Starting Monday, we will start slowly migrating 1.75 users to 2.0; this is currently disabled. If you do not wish to participate, please make sure you've disabled the program updates on the Update Settings tab in 1.75.

I exited out of currently running MBAM, installed new Beta over the top with no restart required. Cut my scan time on old Laptop by 30%

Be careful with the Beta software! I downloaded and installed this product the other day and it killed my MSOffice 2013 applications. Once I uninstalled it, MSOffice was functioning normally again...
