All at once I cannot run YouTube with Shockwave enabled. If I disable it, I can logon and use YouTube. When I do the disable, then I cannot view any video on any other website. I enable and then I can, but still cannot use YouTube. Flash Player was update by Windows on 4/12/2013.

Thanks...it may not have been my problem. After trying several other avenues, I did a file restore to the previous day and it cleared up my problem.

How do I know if I need to update flash? I just got this laptop yesterday, and you'd think it would come with the latest features, but it ran like 47 updates. For some reason when I try to watch Youtube, usually if I upload a playlist or play a lot of videos it just crashes and freezes up and it takes a bit for Jaws to come back on. My desktop with Win 7 does this all the time, but it's also messed up, so I thought that was what was causing it, but the brand new laptop does it too. Is it flash or Youtube? I can listen to Pandora with no problems. This is really annoying, as I love Youtube.

Right click while playing any video(place the cursor on the screen) and you can see the version of your adobe flash player.
