unlike the generic 8988 FF00 x64 package which was WHQL for Win10 x64 only, generic 8988 FF01 x64 package is WHQL for Win7 x64 & Win10 x64 [because they were digitally signed on different dates and have different WHQL certifications for different Windows versions]

8988 FF01 (not FF00) x64 will install on 64bit Win8.x w/out any problems

I installed version 6.0.8934.1 in all of my Dell OptiPlex 9020 mini-towers which have Realtek ALC3220 HD Audio. The sound from the integrated monitor speakers still works fine in Windows 7 and Windows 10.

which FFxx version of 6.0.8934.1 HDA ? FF01 or FF04
