Latest NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Drivers for Windows 8

GeForce Experience barely works for me.

It doesn't support my processor (AMD Athlon X2 5000+) and GPU itself (GeForce 210).

NVIDIA GeForce Experience is of little use to me too but it is just as easy to check this thread or the one at SF for updates since Brink always keeps the links updated.

Running those kind of background services is useless if you check for drivers yourself (this thread is a good source).
If multiple programs offer that kind of 'experience' updaters, you'll slow down your OS startup considerably, even on SSD.

NVIDIA GeForce Experience is just an optional addition to the NIVIDIA CP. Without it installed, you will not receive update notices.

Yeah I was talking about Nvidia update. It is that which dosnt let me know when new updates are available. I cant check for updates with it either since it says unable to connec to Nvidia

Hey guys, Lately I was experiencing an issue with GeForce Experience (both v1.6 and v1.7) after upgrading to W8.1 - and I've narrowed MY problem down to the AVG Suite (paid) that I'm using. Simply disabling the AVG Suite and it's Firewall allowed me to open/install/update and use all functions of the application - as long as AVG is disabled.
I've sent off an email to AVG advising them of my problems, as I also have problems using W8 with AVG and Plex Media Server.

Thought it might help anyone else out there.

After installing this update on my Windows 8.1 Pro installation I started having system freeze ups, where my only recourse was to do a hard shutdown and reboot. Once I rolled the driver back everything works fine once again. Anybody else have this kind of problem, or is it just my "good luck" striking once again?

I have this issue, I even just made a thread about it, I didnt actually think about downgrading below that, guess ill give it a try.

has nvidia improved of late? about 2-3 years ago, nvidia updates were screwing up my card and causing no end of problems. I kept have to revert to previous drivers to get anything to work. This coincided with the advent on Win 7. So I changed to ATI Radeon HD 6700 series and have not had a single spec of bother. All enquiries to nvidia were met with silence both email and on forums.

Heh, for me it was the opposite. I had so much grief with AMD/ATI drivers that I vowed never to buy their cards again (and I haven't). My GTX 580 (3), 680 (3), and 780 (1) cards have all worked flawlessly with every driver that NVidia has released and I love how well the drivers are increasing my gaming experience. If you have trouble with a card, all you usually see is only the posts that confirms your suspicions that the "drivers are crap". We both need to realize that just because we had troubles with our card(s) does not mean that everyone is having the same issues. Stick with what you feel most comfortable with but don't expect everyone else to have your own issues and experiences.

I have also nvidia driver stopped responding, Ive tried 331.65, and 331.85. I also tried the current one 332.21, does anyone know what could cause this? Should I increase my GPU voltage?
