Solved Latest error: page fault in nonpaged area

So a bit of backstory first. Ever since I upgraded to windows 10 I'd consistently gotten the FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE. The bit of research I'd done said it was a bug. It didn't seem so bad as it only happened once a week or so. Then 2 days ago I started getting MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and irql_not_less_or_equaI. I was playing Heros of the Storm When I first got that BSOD. That started getting progressively worse and worse with less time between crashes to the point that I couldn't even try to troubleshoot without getting BSOD.

So I tried to do a system restore to a previous state but got the MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and it restarted in the middle of the restoration. Well that's when it got really bad. I could no longer even log into windows and had to resort to a complete restoration to factory defaults and back to windows 8.1, which has brought a bunch of new errors and BSODs(dpc-watchdog-violation, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, irql_not_less_or_equa)

So after looking those up I cam across a few posts saying that I should do a sfc /scannow and got "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix someof them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Forexample C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently notsupported in offline servicing scenarios." After reading some more I did dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and got ox800f081f as and error code(when i was trying to write everything down I got PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and that was all I got document before the crash).

I should also mention that when I ran the Windows memory diagnostic (when I was getting the MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD thats the bit of troubleshooting info I could grab before system would crash) it said there was a hardware issue.

I am at a loss as to what to do. I don't know weather the steps I took were positive or not. I know that's a lot to sort through but I don't know what else to do. Where and how should I start? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

I would start with testing the memory using a proper memory test

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Does the memtest86 work with windows 8.1? The link says xp vista and 7 but not 8. If it does do I really NEED a flash drive or cd? My laptop doesn't have a cd/dvd drive nor do I have a flash drive. I can't run it from the desktop? Also I put the zipfile in the original post. Sorry for posting in the wrong section.

MemTest86+ doesn't relay on the operating system.

Yes you do need a flash drive or CD, memory tests can only test the complete memory when not in the operating system. When you're in the operating system a part of the memory is reserved for the operating system and not accessible by anything else but the operating system which makes that you can't test that part of the memory while in an operating system.

Also be sure your system becomes up to date (do NOT install Windows 10)

Uninstall McAfee while troubleshooting and use Windows Defender as alternative

Ok. So I disabled/removed McAfee. I went into device manager and tried to update the mouse drives. It said that the best drivers were already installed. Also updated windows. The flash drive will have to wait until this weekend. Since my last post I've only had one BSOD which was "page fault in nonpaged area".

A tip, don't update drivers through device manager, rarely you can update drivers through device manager.
Always search manually for the drivers instead by going to the manufacturer of the device.
