Problem with CCleaner 4.02.4115

Since I've installed CCleaner 4.02.4115, it deletes all my user names and passwords to sites that I've saved. It never did that until this version. What items do I need to uncheck to stop this?

Hello Clint,

This will most likely be the "Cookies" item. Deleting cookies could wipe these.

As a test, you could go into "Options" -> "Cookies" in CCleaner to add to "Cookies to Keep" in the right pane like below for the sites you want to have your log in credentials remembered for to see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply Brink. I do have a lot of cookies saved (not to delete), for the sites that I go to. It seems that it doesn't happen until the PC has been rebooted, after that I have run CCleaner.

Ah, I see. I get that as well sometimes after I reboot, and haven't found out a cause either.

I went to CCleaner's web site. They don't have support for the free version. On their Community forum, seems like a lot of other people are having the same trouble. But no fix.

Which browser? I upgraded and haven't experienced the same problem with Firefox.

the more latest versions of Ccleaner is now out and this is mid 2013.. just check over the web .. certainly you know about it .. i guess .. then why not any similar quote here after 2011 ..

I don't understand. As far as I know CCleaner 4.02.4115 is the latest version.
