Rather behind on email lately, been doing car maintenance for MOT, British roadworthiness test. Thankfully it passed first time.
 
Thanks, it needs a new oxygen sensor before the cat, a right PITA to get to, remove wipers, remove scuttle, remove under scuttle, remove air filter, remove air filter housing, remove throttle body then you can actually see it to remove the sensor. I runs OK and the emissions are 34 ppm and allowed 330 ppm so it is well legal but if you give it quick full wellie it starves a bit till it picks up. Accelerate gently and it is fine. Tried all the fuel additive cleaners with no luck so I will have to bite the bullet and do it one day weather permitting.

We just have them plug into the OBD-II port and it all the monitors are ready and a visual inspection passes...good to go

Rolling road for brakes, all wheel bearings steering linkage, lights, even the windscreen washer and if there is no water in it that's a fail. Visual condition of discs, exhaust, bodywork rust and holes. Even if you have fitted aftermarket headlight bulbs that are too bright. A lit MIL light is an instant fail. A chip on the windscreen if it in the line of vision. They are very strict over here.
