When I encountered a pesky problem in Office with Powerpoint text formatting that FORCED me to install an Asian language, I chose Japanese. This enabled a previously hidden tab that enabled me to set the proper text formatting (so line breaks won't happen within words). After I achieved the setting I wanted, I removed the Japanese language option.
However... I am finding that periodically Windows Update is wanting to install software updates for JAPANESE. Even though I do not have it installed any longer. I do not want these updates.
So somewhere, somehow, Windows is confused... and thinks I should update Japanese. How can I correct Windows so it stops doing this? When I end up finding a new Windows Update notification and there are just 3 important updates ALL having to do with Japanese, it becomes extremely annoying (meaning the only reason why I have the update alert is because of a language I am no longer using). Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks!
