hey everyone,

I happen to get this BSOD after trying to access certain folders in my data drive. (D: Drive)
I ran CheckDisk because I found it was taking a very long time to access these files. I ran it and it corrected the errors. All my other hard drives had no errors.
Now i'm getting this KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED(iaStorA.sys) blue screen of death and it has happened twice.

FYI
Bios up to date, every driver is up to date, very windows update is on it. I am using an SSD as my C: drive and I only strictly use it for Windows 8, no other data besides that.

If any more information needed, let me know. Thanks in advance:D

File is attached...

iaStorA.sys is part of the Intel matrix storage manager driver file and might be corrupted. I suggest to download this package for your mother board and re-install it.

thanks for the reply, but my motherboard does not have Intel Matrix Storage Manager. I checked and I use the Intel Rapid Storage Technology. I keep looking for updates for every driver and program I have. Right now, I have no issues accessing the specific hard drive interestingly enough. I'll post back if anyone else has anymore ideas or if new problems arise

Thank you, I haven't had a BSOD today as everything seemed to have worked smoothly no problem. I updated the driver and hopefully I won't have this issue again. Thanks again for your help!
