then it should be
www.eightforums.com but it is www.theeightforums.com
what for 'the'...

because someone was fast enough than our John in registering
www.eightforums.com

I've known about that domain for a while, at first I thought it belonged to John but then I realized if it did he likely would have made it up and running by now.

Whoever registered it likely forgot about it or just doesn't feel like doing the worker.

The forum actually has about 400 members and posts, whilst not prolific, are regular. But then, there isn't a great deal to say about Windows 8 yet, other than rumours.
The activity does, in fact, exceed this one by a short head.
