I am upgrading to a new pc and giving my old one to a friend who likes the pre-installed games that come with windows 8.1. I think that I may have deleted them early on. Is there a way to re-install them? I do not have a windows disk. Thank you very much.

You just need the keys and should be able to download them from the software mfg website.

If your talking about Solitaire, FreeCell, etc. Microsoft didn't include them with Windows 8. There is a home brew games pack installer that ports the Windows 7 games over to Windows 8. Google msgames_win8_x64.msi and you should find it. Download and install at your own risk though. It's not an official Microsoft installer. I have it and have used it, just don't remember where I downloaded it from. There were a couple of threads on it here. http://www.eightforums.com/gaming/5798-how-make-windows-8-work-ms-games-previous-versions.html and http://www.eightforums.com/gaming/20910-win-7-games-win-8-a.html
