2. Press the Windows + Z keys, and go to step 5 below.
3. Right click on an empty area in IE10 Metro, and go to step 5 below.
4. Swipe up from the bottom of your touch screen, and go to step 5 below.
5. To the right of the address bar, click/tap on the Pin site button, and click/tap on Add to favorites. (see screenshot below)

I see the metro version borrowed all my favorites from the desktop one but Its not practicall to have all those in the metro one. I just want to have those from favorites bar. Can I do that? if not how to effciciently delete the many others ? If I delete a favorite in metro it will be deleted in dektop explorer too?

Hello StefaNafetS,

IE10 Metro and IE10 Desktop share the same favorites ("C:\Users\(user-name)\Favorites" folder). If you delete a favorite in one, it will delete it in the other as well.

noooooooo...Ive deleted a couple of those in metro. Damn there are too many favorites for metro version and quite necessary for desktop one. I mean lets admit the metro IE is more fore fun , wandering with no special purpose so to have those favorites shared its nonsense. So Metro IE is quite screw up now..it was not enough that those frequent visited page tiles are clustering and you need to scroll like hell to reach the favorites row lol now its importing ALL the favorites from desktop version which is utterly for other purposes.
Do you know how to import only the favorites that I have added in Chrome favorites bar (or better said bookmarks bar). I can olny do that by enetring chrome bookmarks manager and exporting the bookmarks in a HTML file that is saved wherever you want . Then from IE from the "add to favorites" drop menu choose to import from file and slect that HTML ( importing from brower doesnt have any effect even it says it imported them succesfully). But doing this its just adding those bookmarks as a folder ( which is kinda normal) to the IE favorites folder. I wonder if I can add those directly to IE favorites bar not as a folder.
So from Chrome bookmarks bar to IE favorites bar how the hell can I do this?
