Can anyone help me discover why since upgrading to windows 10 from 8.1 my ethernet connection fails after about 40 minutes to an hour after booting. The only way to re-establish a connection is to reboot the laptop or to uninstall then re-install the (Broadcom netlink gigabit ethernet) adapter via Device manager, having to do this every hour is very tedious, I should add that my wi-fi connection is flawless which would suggest that the Virgin modem/router hub to which the ethernet cable (RJ45) is connected is not at fault. I would very much welcome any input. Thankyou.
