Solved Intel HD Graphics 2000/3000

Here you go, sorry for being lazy and late.
It seems that these drivers are only for Ivy Bridge devices. Use these at your own risk. I have it installed so I know it's working. I added the device ID's for sandy bridge and the Sub System ID for Dell N5110 according to MKhairy048's post

Be sure to use the Custom Certificate Installer if you haven't already.

Hm.I tried installing on my Toshiba Portege M780-S7230 with an i5-560M (I think) and I get an error saying that the driver failed to install sometime into the installation.

Hmmm. That's odd. Sometimes these packages don't work for mobile cpu's.
Did you run the Custom Certificate Installer before you installed the driver?

I had run it some time ago--I had been using the 2622 drivers before this. Also, I tried installing it using the "Have Disk" method. It told me that it was not compatible with this version of Windows.

i got this driver from here
intel drivers pour chipsets Graphiques
this version was released for ivy then released to sandye and was restricted for some chipset with subsystem identification and customization on install setting

i made new entry for my card on first and removed customization for my one

this driver has opencl and nearly driver with opencl cause visual error with video playback

so i returned to 2622 driver it is good for me :)

i hope the new driver may solve problem with internal laptop screen
then i will try to disable opencl on this driver
but first see if it works or not

I have tried this driver as well with every single possible way of installing it but nothing worked. So I am guessing what do I really need or am I really doing something wrong!! If there is anything that you can come up with please let me know because I want to get my chip to work soon. Plus I am trying to get other people on Windows 8 Consumer Preview but I can't in good conscious do it to people who are not tech savvy and would have a big problem with situation about the graphics processor.

Please and Thank You!!!

Thank you XDLeader555 but I have tried your drivers and every other driver recommended and none has worked so far. Every one that I download only turns my screen off none fixes the problem. I have been searching since Windows 8 Consumer Preview came out and have not yet to find anyone with a solution or maybe it could just be me and the way I am doing it.

I really want to get the screen resolution to the right resolution so that I can use Windows 8 to its fullest potential but can't because W8CP does not support all drivers. It is not the end of the world or anything but I like my options and don't like to be forced into using a lesser resolution just because Microsoft didn't do their research before they shipped their new OS out.

I might just switch back to Developer Preview. At least with that I can have my resolution and can use Skype without all the problems. Either way I think that Skype is not working because of Skype cause right now I am on Windows 7 and it is messing up..

Version 8.15.10.2622 works fine on my i3 330m, score in WEI drops but I'm finally able to run GTA San Andreas on my native resolution with everything on lowest without stuttering.

8.15.10.2639 However, did not install. But the included Intel Display Audio driver installed fine and is a few months newer than in the 8.15.10.2622 package.

Hi XDLeader555,

Good that it worked.

I don't have that chipset to test it out (too bad) but let's hope they (Intel) didn't have some heavy issues with Win8 and maybe that's why they excluded Win8 from the driver (it's still beta).

Normally you can download the zip of the drivers of Win7 (not the exe) from intel's website and install it manually in device manager in Win8.

This method works (almost) everytime. Manually changing the driver (it's a desperate solution if nothing else works) it's not that safe (unless you're a driver maker).

You don't always get better acceleration because for windows 8 they need new implementation of WDDM 1.2 model (win7 drivers don't have this).

They will release newer drivers not to worry.

Good luck
Hopachi

to me the date is 3/15 on windows update
and date of driver is 22/2
Odd, since that still shows as being published on Feb 27 here. It must be the same version though based on the Feb 22 date of the driver itself.

Anyway, I went through an interesting series of reboots trying to get one of the OpenGL drivers to work on an Intel HD 3000-only system (i.e. no AMD/Nvidia lurking). It wasn't pleasant, since while I was able to successfully install 2622 (using setup.exe), a reboot brought nothing but the famous black screen mentioned above.

So I decided, from Safe Mode, to revert to one of the 25xx drivers to see how that would go, which I again did using setup.exe. It didn't help. But then I tried updating the driver via Device Manager to 2622, and that magically worked. I have no idea how a setup.exe-based install is any different than one from DM, but in the case of the black screen, it was.

I have double graphics (Intel HD 3000 and NVIDIA Gforce with Cuda) on my lenovo Z570 machine. My NVIDIA graphics are correctly installed, but the Intel graphics are installed as (Intel(R) HD Graphics family(Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.2) in the device manager. Whenever I try to install manually the full graphics driver, my display goes black and then I couldn't log on to my windows desktop. Further, my system starts auto restart again and again. If there is any solution to the problem, then post please.

You could try what I just mentioned--install an older version, reboot into safe mode (not that you have a choice), and then via Device Manager update to 2622.

Do you know in what way it's not stable? I haven't tried it, but I did try 2622, and it's not stable, at least for me. On Win7, it was, since I ran it there for several weeks. On Win8, I get what's pretty close to a hard freeze at random times about once a day. Close, but no cigar. Back to the Win8 drivers from WU. Angry Birds will have to wait.
