Solved Intel HD Graphics 2000/3000

Error 35 is different to what we experienced here. The modded inf file is only to get around the OS not supported error. For further assistance please provide your system specs.

well, thats also one of the problem..windows 8 is not supporting my graphics driver..plus when i tried to update it by replacing the original inf file with the modified one..i am still having problems..

If windows update is replacing the modified inf, go to control panel > windows update > change settings and select from the drop down menu "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them"

Install the modified .inf then reboot.

Go back to windows update and click check for updates.
Right Click the update for Intel corporation driver update and select "Hide Update"

OMG the NOOBS

it shows error code 35 saying update ur bios and ask to ur vendor blah blah...so wht sud i do now?

Until you deal with this issue no driver mod will work for you. This is saying [TABLE="width: 100%"]

What is your mainboard, bios revision, build of windows ect. Without this information we Cannot help you any further.

You have NOT addressed the first issue, either post you machine specs or go back to win7. I don't think you have the required expertise to use a Developer Preivew yet, if you can't even provide basic info about your system.

According to his info he put a Samsung R538 down as his computer model.
That computer model has two types in it. One with an intel HD media accelerator, and one with an ati mobility Radeon HD 5470 (Info found here)

Have you tried Ati driver for a Mobility Radeon HD 5470? If you have trouble installing it, I'm pretty sure I saw a forum doing it.

Mine is the one with the intel graphics media accelerator..never tried the ati driver for mobility radeon HD 5470 coz this won't work with the processor..guess i wud just have to wait for a compatible graphics media accelerator for windows developer preview on my computer..

Do you have an Intel core i3? You know that graphic cards arn't dependent on the processor. As far as I know there isn't any nvidia cpu for laptops.

Just try using the Ati driver, you never know till you try :3

okk brother i will try if u recommendec :) can u provide me any link for its download coz i can't get one :/

Hello,
I'm using Samsung laptop R439 with Intel HD Graphic. And i got this problem when install windows 8 x86
- Maximum resolution is 1024x768
- There is a yellow warning when in Devide Manager>Display Adapters
Intel(R) HD Graphics family(Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.2

I'm trying install Intel HD Graphic from windows 7 32bit ashttp://www.eightforums.com/member.php?u=2129 XDleader555
said
then it became:
- yellow warning when in Devide Manager>Display Adapters
Intel(R) HD Graphics
Then I try:
Try going to the device manager, (right-click "My Computer" then click "Manage" and then "Device Manager")
and look in "Display Drivers"

If it says "Intel(R) HD Graphics family(Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.2)" then you have to update the driver manually.

Right click "Intel(R) HD Graphics family(Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.2)" and select "Update Driver Software..."
Choose "Browse my computer for driver software" and then "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
Select "Intel(R) HD Graphics Family" It should say that the driver is not digitally signed.
You can rightclick your desktop and choose "graphics properties..." to bring up the Intel control panel.

IF the driver isnt there, then it did not install correctly.

But it came with error:

Your computer's system firmware does not include enough information to properly configure and use this device. To use this device, contact your computer manufacturer to obtain a firmware or BIOS update. (Code 35)

I also update the latest chipset but it's not working. What should I do?

Hey guys, I'm running the x64 developer preview on an Acer Aspire 5740 running an older Intel GMA HD, and the current driver for it is Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Windows 7* 64, Windows Vista* 64 (zip)
v15.22.54.64.2622
Download Link: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=20843&ProdId=3231&lang=eng
My current Driver is WDDM 1.1. I've tried following the procedure in the first post, but after running the setup executable, nothing happens, and when I restart, there's no intel updates when i check updates. I'm guessing it's just the difference in the two drivers that doesn't let it work with this one, so has anybody figured out how to get that particular driver working in Windows 8 or have any idea how to?

The old Intel GMA HD doesnt seem to want to take the modified driver in Windows 8. Since I don't own a laptop with the older Intel GMA HD I cannot test it.

Have you tried the pre-made installation setups at the bottom of the post? (Im uploading the new one currently. It takes a while on 1mb upload)

EDIT: Done
64bit Win7Vista_64_152254.zip
32bit Win7Vista_152254.zip

It says that I had newer drivers previously installed when I opened the setup. Other than that it worked fine.

I have another problem with consumer preview - installed almost every driver from this thread, driver from dell, updated windows driver, and my laptop (dell n5110, i5, Intel hd 3000) display works only in safe mode. Works also on external monitor, but laptop display is black from the beginning of windows loading.

In screen preferences it is listed as: "Display device on: Composite", but even whet I set duplicate, extend, show desktop only on it screen remains black. I also tried setup it manually with Intel application, custom resolution, but its not working.

My laptop screen is simply not detected by windows.

TEMP SOLUTION: go to Device Manager, select Update driver of display adapter, Browse my computer, Let me pick from a list, Select Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, reboot. My laptop display is working, but in low res only.
