Hello my friends,

I have a Acer Monitor which can support 1366x768... I'm trying to increase my screen resolution to 1600x1200 60Hz but its not allowing me even though Intel HD adds it on...

What can I do or what screen resolutions can support my monitor.

You can't physically go beyond the maximum resolution of the display.

That monitor is the bare minimum required to run Windows 8.

What you can do is either use the monitor with it's very unpleasant resolution, or purchase a better monitor, capable of a higher resolution.

Yes, you somewhat answered your own question. As in any chain, the weakest link is the limit. So, if you think of the monitor, graphics card, etc all as a chain, the lowest max supported resolution is your limit, in this case, your monitor.
