I need help with my keyboard keys/flashing files

I seriously need help with my keyboard keys and with the flashing files on my desktop.

b, n, caps lock, delete, 7(numpad), f1, f8, f12, \, and = are the keys that won't work correctly, I did NOT install anything that day. Around the time, I was going to type something into the address bar and every key started to act a bit strange.

I would type a letter but pressing it again wouldn't type it again. For an example (e...ee..eeee........eeeeeeeee..e)
I would spam one key but it wouldn't type it in each time.

I decided to restart and now, these particular keys aren't functioning correctly.

The other problem I had was the flashing files on my desktop and my OS.

Right clicking anything on my desktop would make all of the files on my desktop flash. Anything I right click in my OS and the little menu would just disapear after 1.5 seconds.

It sounds like you picked up prankware. Try running a full scan with MBAM

The free one is fine. It has the same scanner as the paid version.

Did all 3 scans with it and there was no viruses or anything.

I think I had something like this in the past; I don't know how I fixed it =S

But I don't know if you tried this:
Try to restore your computer to a previous time.

Search for: restore
Open: Create a restore point -> press the System Restore button

and you can figure out what to do from there. If this doesn't fix your problem, then I'm sorry, I don't know what else you can do. Yet restore your computer back to the current day so all your files you moved/deleted or what not come back to how they were today.

Have you tried a different keyboard? The first thing to rule out would be a bad keyboard before messing around with the OS. Especially since you say you made no changes. Maybe some component in the keyboard developed a fault.

Can't exactly afford one at the moment and now, I have a new problem which lead me to making another thread about it.

"This started from me closing my on screen keyboard with caps lock activated.
On march 27, most of my keys(b, n, caps lock, delete, 7(numpad), f1, f8, f12, \, =) have stopped working all at the same time without me doing anything that day.

Yesterday is when my caps lock started to out act of control. just from me closing the on screen keyboard, I accidentally clicked caps lock and closed it.

Since it doesn't work, it still flashes on and off. I used malwarebytes and did all 3 scans but nothing was found.

I disabled the key two times, with keytweaker and manual. If I were to hold down on any key like backspace or a letter, it won't spam across the thread or anywhere I type on. This would mean that caps lock is affecting my keys even when disabled.

It won't capitalize everything which is what I want but it still activates and stops my keys from working."

If you are near a Wal-mart store you can order online and pick up at the store without paying shipping. I have purchased a couple of USB keyboards in the $8 to $10 range. If not the problem it doesn't hurt to have one as a backup in case the keyboard does go at some point.

On the other side of it, if you think the onscreen keyboard mishap messed up your settings I would try a restore point if one is available from before the change.

A quicker way to test might be to buy a keyboard at a brick and mortar store with a good return policy. Try it on the PC. One way or the other if it is too expensive bring it back and just say there is nothing wrong with it but you didn't like the feel of the key action. Most reputable stores will take stuff back within a certain time if you return it with all the packaging and have a receipt.
