So i just went to the latest chipset drivers which i don't know if made any difference but at least they are updated, so was wondering if i should also update these things on my MSI Z77A-G45 mainboard,

Should i update this if so how do i get it as this is latest from motherboard manufacture, its the Intel(R) Management Engine Components i have version 9.5.15.1730 also should i update this intel rapid storage technolagy i have version 12.8.0.1016. any advice on these would be great just updating stuff i went with the new chipset as it look like it supports win 10 so if i update i will need it anyhow :), but as far as these other drivers what should i do and should i update them if they have new versions.

If your system runs stable, there is no need for updating. Updating these components can cause more trouble than benefits.
Your board manufactorer should offer the valid versions of Rapid Storage and Management Engine for you board.

Personally, I like having all the drivers updated but I first check what those updates bring new or improved, download them all from primary manufacturer, ie. if it's lets say MSI R7 260 video card, I download drivers from AMD site whose GPU and chipset are originally. My Gigabyte MB, has Realtec sound so I download drivers from Realtec, not from Gigybyte, primary MFGs tend to have newer drivers, Drivers from MS are mostly more dated and pretty basic.

Thanks all i looked for these and could not find them so think i will leave them as is system runs good.

I always update the chipset drivers once -- after I complete an installation using a new motherboard. After that, I just check the website every now and then to see if a new driver is available. My motherboard is several years old now, so Gigabyte hasn't put out an update in years.

As to other drivers, I regularly look around for RealTek Audio HD drivers (since Gigabyte isn't updating them) and recently found a site (station-drivers) that had updates. I imaged off the PC before applying the driver update, but afterward, the update went well and I'm keeping the new drivers.

You really have to address these on a driver-by-driver basis, as newer is not always better.
