Google says otherwise for you too..

Some say you need to do the format ... Please read and type in Google like I did in 3 seconds..

Why are people not googling things anymore??

Q: Why are people not googling things anymore??

A: Maybe, because folks picked up on what Google said, that after a certain date they would copy and save peoples searches for Googles own use..... like in building ad's, etc.
I don't want anyone saving my 'stuff' so I dumped Google as my search engine and went to a SAFE search engine, that does not save or record my searches.

By the way, every time I install 8.1 on a HD that's had some OS on it before, I always use the "Format" option. And if there are multiple partitions I use the options to pick a partition and "Delete" it, so that I'm starting off with a CLEAN drive.
Windows 8.1 usually installs very nicely on a Clean hard drive and will set up it's own partitions.

Cheers Mates!
