I don't have Adobe Reader on my Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit desktop. I haven't installed Adobe After Effects and Adobe Creative Cloud.( I just don't know what those are and what those do ) Still I get "Carriage Stalled " message as in the first post here, when I give the print command on my HP Desk Jet Ink Advantage 2035 printer. I would think the printer has developed an inherent fault of not releasing the cartridge on print command. It just gets stuck. ( I haven't installed any programs for a longtime now)
As a work around, after switching on the printer, I open the Ink cartridge door as if I am going to change the cartridge. Without fail the twin ink cartridges ( Black and color) move to the center. I then close the door and the cartridges retreat to the start position on the carriage. I start printing and everything goes on smoothly.
