Not sure if this is a Windows 8 or Chrome issue
Using Windows 8.1, Using Chrome, Using Windows Defender
For the past few days I am getting popups titled "becasenightisbetter.com" saying that.
My computer is infected and press on the link to remove it
Viruses detected (5)
When I click on the above it opens a page saying it is Windows Defender showing a scan with 5 viruses and telling me to proceed (which I haven't)
I have done a restore to a week ago but didn't make any difference
Ran several full scans on Windows Defender, no difference
Done the Chrome, Clean up computer,
Set up Chrome on Pop-ups and Redirect to block "becausenightisbetter.com", but still getting popups
Should i be installing a anti pop up programme ?
Any suggestions what to do next ?.
