Solved How to search multiple files for words

I have multiple folders each one contains around 1000 to 1500 files the files are not huge they are around 100 KB, all files are excel, PDF or word. I need to search inside those files for words such as a name in order to re-arrange them properly and trying to open every file to find what I am looking for is almost impossible and will take month to complete. Is there a way or even an application that I can use to do this job?

What about NirSoft's SearchMyFiles which is FREE and PORTABLE.
Costs nothing to try it.

I use Windows 8.1 Indexing Options and am able to find everything I look for almost immediately by searching for the relevant word(s). I usually open the Desktop Folder and type what I am looking for into the search box. It gives me a File Explorer window with all the referenced locations & items listed. I may not be understanding the original poster's issue, but using Indexing Options sounds like one solution.

The issue is that I have some folders each one contains a huge number of files, I need to break those folders into smaller ones, but in a certain order such as all files with a certain name to go in one folder. I need to find a tool to search inside those files to find the word I am looking for and mark the files for me so I can move them to a new folder. this task is almost impossible to be done manually because of the number of files inside each folder which is within the range of 5000 files at least in each folder.

Agent Ransack has a very powerful search function, once you get used to the interface. I use it instead of windows indexing, to eliminate the large index files on my surface pro 1. Takes some time to get used to, but can find anything in a short time. Will create a list of files you can move to a new folder that's already created.

Let me add one last request here, those mentioned files have dates and serial numbers inside can I use any of the above tools to arrange those files.
